My wedding photography partner in crime is getting married, and their proposal was one of the sweetest! Joseph brought Hannah to Lipscomb University, where he now works as a professor and where she went to school, and proposed on a warm sunny day this summer. Did she know it was coming? Absolutely. Was it still amazing? Absolutely. Here are a few photos from their engagement and her version of the story below!

I asked Hannah to share a little bit about the proposal and the evening that followed. A couple of hours after the proposal, I rejoined them at Hannah’s house for a surprise engagement party with their closest family and friends. Hearts were full and happy.
“If I am being honest, I totally knew the proposal was coming. Being a photographer myself, my weekday evenings and weekends get very booked, so Joseph and to “reserve” me so that I wouldn’t take on last minute clients. Although I knew it was coming, I had NO idea he was going to propose at Lipscomb, that Jamie would be there capturing it, and that we would get my favorite restaurant delivered for a surprise party afterwards. I actually had told him that I didn’t want a photographer there, but I am so glad he hired one, haha. It was such a sweet day of celebrating and I will cherish the photos Jamie got forever!”
