Jamie was so wonderful to work with for our engagement photos in Yosemite National Park! The quality of her photos was wonderful with very true to life but dreamy colors which will stand the test of time. Jamie was simply amazing! She is the most kind, intentional, and professional worker. From our engagement session to the wedding day, she was consistently there for us. She made both of us feel so comfortable behind the camera and she helped make the day feel so effortless and smooth. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

For me, finding a wedding photographer was one of the most important aspects when planning our wedding. I knew that after the wedding was over, the photos would be the lasting memories of a wonderful night. Jamie captured all the feelings and best memories of our wedding that we will have to look back on for years.
better than I could have imagined

While nighttime proposal photos sound dreamy and romantic, consider proposing during the day if you want professional photography. I’d be happy to show you some examples of night proposals versus daytime proposals!
Have fun with it! This is a day that you two will remember forever, so don’t overthink it too much. Be yourself, consider writing out what you’ll say to her, and do it in a way that feels natural to both of you.
This way you’ll be able to share this part of your story with friends and family. Be wary of asking a friend to take photos. Proposal photography can be complicated, because you have one chance to capture the moment and not give away the surprise. With dozens of proposals photographed, I would be happy to chat about taking pictures of your proposal.
If you have family coming into town, ask them to turn off their location sharing. There’s nothing worse than having an epic surprise planned when your partner sees that her relatives are unexpectedly in town.
