Cameras store information for each individual lens that they use, so once I’ve calibrated a specific lens, your camera stores that information, and I move on to do the same process on the next lens. Each lens should be calibrated to all of the bodies you use.

A:

What if I have multiple lenses?

q:

Your lenses should be calibrated when you notice that images are consistently out of focus. Again, these changes can occur over time depending on how much you use your camera, if you drop it, and other factors.

A:

How often should I calibrate my lenses?

q:

Sharp focused photos require communication between the lens and the dslr’s autofocus chip. Overtime, the system can begin to inaccurately measure the distance, resulting in an image that looks focused through the viewfinder, but is actually slightly out of focus when you take the image. Calibration corrects this margin of error, bringing back accurate focus.

Why does my lens need calibration?

q:

Look no further, I offer calibration services in my office in Germantown.
