I grew up in Knoxville, and have known Will’s family for years. (His sister’s senior photo session was my first photography gig back in 2012, so really I owe my entire career to the Dallery family.) Their lovely morning wedding at Redeemer Church in downtown Knoxville was absolutely stunning, and so much fun to be a part of!

Everything about the Dallery wedding was simple, elegant, colorful, and personal. And Rachel’s dress came from Poshmark?? Incredibly impressed. They decided to have a morning ceremony and a lunch reception, which was so much fun! The atmosphere is almost entirely different than an evening wedding. We had morning portrait light that was absolutely gorgeous, and the entire day was laid back and stress-free, so the two could soak in each moment. Here are some of my favorites, and a little bit from Rachel and Will below.

What’s one word you would use to describe your wedding day?

The word that Will and I keep coming back to as we reflect back on our wedding day is that it was a really sweet day. As we were planning the wedding we knew we wanted it to be a celebration that was not only about our love for each other but also about our love for our friends and theirs for us. It was such a sweet day filled with all of the people we love most celebrating us and our love for each other.

What was your favorite part of the day?

There were so many sweet moments it’s so hard to choose just one! I loved the time we had together for our first look, and that we got to spend some time with our bridal party as well. It was a time I didn’t think we’d have and it was so sweet to have all of our friends together with us.

Any advice for future brides?

I’m so glad I budgeted so much time for our first look and bridal party photos, it made everything so much less stressful that 1. it was done and 2. We didn’t feel rushed or stressed to get done quickly.
