Charleston inspires three key words: lavish, lush, LOVE.
There are endless more words that come to mind, because Charleston, SC is genuinely one of my favorite locations to travel and explore, but this April day with Krystina and Nik topped all my expectations. For this destination wedding shoot, I got to play photographer and planner, helping every detail come alive. And what a joy it was!
Why is Charleston a personal favorite for an intimate, stylized wedding? It’s close enough to the east coast, capturing both southern and coastal influence, with easy transportation and travel accommodations for families near and far. Plus, the location sets you up with some of the highest quality vendors I’ve ever worked with. It was a day filled with intricate details and perfect delicate touches.
Our bride was adorned by Rue De Sine’s Bishop from Lovely Bride Charleston. I was happy to have a bit influence from my home turf with earring design by Ash From Nash. Florals were provided by Festoon Charleston, with tables designed by Camilla of Spellbound Events. Of course I inevitably share the sentiment for every event, but Krystina was just radiant. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves below, along with a list of our incredible vendors.

Parcel 32 by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group, is a historic venue that’s intentionally designed to pack a punch in design. Renovated from a home built in 1837, the venue accomplishes an intentionally modern space, still honorable of its history and attention to detail. With a living room, parlor bar, sun room and open air piazza there are so many airy spaces to explore. Upon an entrance adorned by greens, it achieves the coziness of home and class to celebrate.
It’s an ideal backdrop for Charleston destination weddings or rehearsal dinners, offering wide range of seating flexibility, and a modern style throughout multiple rooms across both stories. Huge plus? Tables and chairs are included in each wedding rental. Plus, their signature cocktails add unique element to pre- or post-party. The guests will shine under the venue’s warm, elegant lighting features and dance across detailed tile floors, all the small beauties coming together to create a charming setting. You can learn more about Parcel 32 online or on Instagram.
Sure, this event took place during a sunny warm day. It might be mid-January, but I’m not done reliving it. Awe over some more detail with me below:
