I love engagement sessions. But I love them even more when I’ve know the bride-to-be for as long as I’ve known Sarah! We met when we were 6 years old in Mrs. Ferraris’s 1st grade class, and we became fast friends. We were never the girls to dream about what our weddings might be like, but when Sarah asked me to photograph hers a few months ago, I was over the moon excited!!

Patrick also grew up in the Knoxville area, and met Sarah in college, where they fell in love and plan to get married downtown next August! Sarah graduates in December, Patrick finishes law school in May, and a few short months later they’ll be Mr. and Mrs. Rader!

Since the wedding venue is downtown, we opted for a more scenic engagement session, in Fall Creek Falls State Park. The soft, cloudy skies and bright trees were everything I could have hoped for. So here are a few of my favorites from Patrick and Sarah’s engagement session!
