Every winter brings a much slower season in the wedding photography world. The weddings-every-week schedule slows to more of a wedding-every-month or so, and I’m able to reset my business and my personal life and dream about the coming year. This year in some of the slowness I decided to open up more opportunities for portrait and branding sessions! First up is Nathan Gamble, an incredibly talented songwriter, producer, and musician here in Nashville. I’ve led worship alongside Nathan a few times over the years, and this past spring he produced my second single, “Measure.” (I could listen to his arrangement of our little string quartet on repeat forever.) Nathan just married his sweet wife Kellie, and I spent an afternoon at their apartment / studio to take some branding photos of Nathan hard at work. Here are a few of my favorites!

I’m very excited to start offering more branding sessions this year, because it’s another way for me to help other entrepreneurs, business owners, and freelancers like myself. Social media and web content are SO important for sharing what we love and what we do with our clients and the people that we serve, and photos tell the stories for us. I’ve been a portrait photographer since 2012, and I’m finding that coming back to my photography roots with a bit of a new spin is really refreshing. I am offering the usual senior and family portraits, and branding sessions, much like in-home sessions, are a way to share even more personality through photos! In the same way that I’m here to help brides and grooms plan the details and timelines of their wedding day, I’m here to help style your brand shoot. We can dig through Pinterest for a mood board or just list out everything that you want your photos to convey, and when we shoot together, I just know we’ll have a blast— because I’m there to capture you showing off what you love most.
So here’s to 2020, to new old projects, and great photos for all. Have questions? Email email@example.com!
