One foggy Sunday before Christmas after a date to Calhoun’s, Alex led Carly out to a dock along the Cumberland river and asked her to marry him. The weather was cool and wet, but it was absolutely beautiful.

Proposals are always such a delight to photograph, especially when I know the bride-to-be for as long as I’ve known Carly. She entrusted me with her high school senior photos back when I was just starting out in photography, and thankfully I’ve developed my skills a whole lot since then… Carly and Alex, congratulations!
