During my senior year, I took an extended spring break and visited a friend in Paris and friends in Florence, Italy, and it was the dream. There’s something remarkably freeing and exciting about traveling solo through crowded European cities. I was able to use the French that I labored over in high school and confidently spoke English in Italy because I know no Italian. 

It was one of my favorite weeks. I was in the middle of a very hard semester at Lipscomb and was facing all kinds of decisions and waiting to hear about potential jobs and future plans. So this week I got to play, to rest my mind, and have fun doing all of the things I love to do.
